Soul and R&B have been part of my musical life for as long as I can remember. I first got hooked through records like Marvin Gaye’s What’s Going On, and that first connection eventually grew into a life around music — as a DJ, producer, record collector, and constant seeker of sounds. Over the years, I’ve built a collection that moves between classic soul, funk, R&B, boogie, jazz, disco, and the records that sit somewhere in between. DJing taught me to listen for the feeling in a record; producing taught me to listen to everything else — the details, the spaces, the grooves, and the stories behind the music. I started this blog as an extension of that journey: a place to share records, artists, discoveries, influences, and the sounds that keep inspiring me. It’s also a space for new voices. If you’re an artist, producer, label, or musician with work you think belongs here, get in touch — I’m always interested in hearing something I haven’t heard before.
